Booking Details and Prices for 2010

Villa Gordon is available for rental from Saturday 1 May 2010 to Saturday 30 October 2010. Prices are quoted in Euros.

The Price Structure: this is designed to reflect the size of the rental party as well as the time of year, between the low season in green and the high season in red. The three party sizes are: A) up to six; B) up to ten; and C) up to 15. Rates for in-between size groups above a minimum of six can be negotiated. The prices below show the weekly rates for these party sizes.

Minimal rental group is six people, minimal period five days; quantities above this pro-rata.

Prices are quoted in Euros, but payment can also be made in US dollars or Sterling, using the exchange rate at the time of booking. For an indication of exchange rates, please use the link below:

Terms and Conditions

The rent

The rental charge covers all utilities with the exception of telephone costs, which will be metered and charged separately at the end of the rental period.

Timing

Rental periods are weekly, or less by arrangement as outlined above. Guests are asked to arrive no earlier than 15.00 hrs, and to leave the property by 10.00 hrs, to give our staff the time to prepare the house for you.

Bed linen

The house is let with bed linen and towels. Guests should supply beach towels.

Care of property

You are responsible for ensuring that the property is left in the same condition of cleanliness and repair that you find it. Any loss or damage for which you are responsible will be charged. Any extraordinary cost of clearing up after your rental period will be charged.

Payment

A 30% deposit is payable on booking. The balance, plus a security deposit of € 200, is payable no less than 60 days before the rental period. If the booking is made less than 60 days before the rental period, the full sum plus security deposit is payable on booking.

Security Deposit

The security deposit of € 200 will be refunded within three weeks of the end of the rental period after any deductions for telephone, damage or additional and extraordinary cleaning requirements have been made.

Cancellation by you

Your booking can be cancelled at any time, and we should be informed in writing of your decision. The postmark will be taken as date of cancellation. The deposit is paid as a booking fee and is non returnable. The following charges apply to cancelled bookings: Over 60 days before the booked dates: deposit only. Between four and eight weeks before the booked dates: 45% of the full rental charge. Less than four weeks before the booked dates: 90% of the full rental charge.

Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel holidays if full payment has not been received by four weeks before the rental period begins. In this situation the deposit and security deposit will be retained by us. Should we be forced for any other reason to cancel the booking, you will be given a full refund

Risks

It is essential that the hirers take out adequate travel insurance to cover themselves and their parties against loss, damage, injury and cancellations/delays. The amenities of the house and grounds offered are to be used entirely at the hirer's or user's risk: we cannot accept any responsibility for injury to the hirers, their guests or any other third party. Equally we cannot accept any responsibility for loss, theft or damage of any property belonging to the hirers, their families and third parties.

Party size

We reserve the right to limit the size of party should maximum occupancy be exceeded. Caravans and tents are not permitted in the grounds. Animals and pets are not permitted. This contract does not allow sub-letting

Right of entry

We reserve right of entry by ourselves or our representatives at any time for necessary maintenance or emergency repairs.
